At 8 a.m., be taken to the cradle of the Donghan Peasant Painting in Huxian County, 50 km away from Xian. Pay a visit to the famous artist, Li Fenglan who will tell you the origin of peasant painting. Learn to use brush pen and the technique of peasant painting. See the mysterious paper - cut show. At noon, the tourists will cook lunch by themselves during which they may experience such local Chinese cooking procedures and traditions as how to stir flour, how to make flour balls as well as how to cook liangyu and Mipi. Perceive the boundless charm of the Chinese cuisine. After an amazing self-made lunch, visit the local school and peasant painting gallery in Huxian city. Then get back to Xian. (L)
